Sisterhood

The Sisterhood of Temple Beth El of Patchogue, originally known as the Daughters of Israel, has always been an integral part of our community. In association with the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism, we follow the ideals of tradition, education and Jewish values.

Our yearly events include the Sukkot Dinner, New Year’s Card fundraiser, Membership Brunch, Sisterhood Shabbat and Women’s Seder. We also run the Temple Gift Shop. Our Torah Fund card fundraiser donates money to the Jewish Theological Seminary.

We have also made several contributions to the Temple building, such as new cushions for the sanctuary, painting our social hall, new Hagaddahs for the Hebrew school and Machzors for Junior congregation.

Our meetings are usually held the 3rd Monday of every month on Zoom. Our other events are held in person at the Temple. Dues are $25 per year and include membership in Women’s League. The first year of membership is free.
