Men's Club

The Men’s Club is dedicated to helping Temple Beth El. This group organizes different social events, both inside the synagogue and outside such as attending a New York Islanders game, attending a New York Mets game and going fishing on a charter boat out of Captree State Park. We also perform several service activities (service projects) within the synagogue and on the grounds of the synagogue.  Contact Men's Club

Senior Social Time

The Beth El Adult Club is a group of Jewish retired adults in our community. JASA (Jewish Association for Services for the Aged) gave the club the needed moral support and some financial help by partially sponsoring bus trips, entertainment and speakers. The aim of this club is to promote a fraternal, social and cultural spirit in our adult Jewish community and to assist and cooperate with other such community organizations. Meetings are held the first and third Thursdays of every month. Coffee and bagels are available at each meeting. New members are welcome.  Contact Senior Social Time

Cheap & Cheerful

The Cheap and Cheerful committee was created to increase the number of fun social activities within the synagogue that are very inexpensive and in some cases free. Some activities include game nights, movie nights, a Chanukah party and a yearly BBQ. During game nights we offer snacks, refreshments and we have prizes for the winners.  These events and activities are open to young families as well as singles and seniors. Members and non-members are welcome to join in the fun.

Chevra Kadisha

The Patchogue Chevra Kadisha, the Hebrew Burial Society, is an integral part of our Jewish Community. This group of dedicated men and women is constantly and unfailingly prepared to assist bereaved families in every possible way. These community-minded people are literally on call 24 hours a day, never stinting in their efforts to help ease a most difficult time. They skillfully and quietly arrange all the details from the moment of the person's passing through interment itself.  Synagogue members receive a 10% discount on the cost of burial plots.
